About the Fixed Coil Enameled Boiler
In the fixed-coil design, the coil comes with the tank; its installer-friendly and largely maintenance-free construction provides an economical first-investment advantage in residential, shopping-mall, tourism, and industrial facilities.
What Is a Coil Boiler?
Operating Principle
Hot fluid from the heat source circulates through the fixed coil inside the tank, transfers its heat to the mains water, and returns cooled to the source. In dual-coil (TDB) models, the lower coil can run on solar and the upper coil on the boiler for hybrid operation.
Advantages
Economical and efficient operation
It uses surplus heat from the existing boiler/heat pump/solar system; in high-capacity systems it reduces the fuel bill and accelerates return on investment.
Fast heating and high comfort
Hygienic enamel surface
Surfaces in contact with domestic water are coated with high-quality enamel; the smoothness required for corrosion protection and hygiene is achieved.
Low operating loss
Magnesium anode and enamel provide dual protection. A bottom cleaning flange and optional heater pocket ease long-term maintenance and summer operation.

Installation and Commissioning
During commissioning, pressure testing and flow and temperature checks are performed. The Tanpera technical team provides on-site support and training.
After-Sales Services
The Tanpera service network supplies magnesium anodes, gasket sets, sensors, and connection components throughout the project life.
On fixed-coil models, sediment cleaning and anode replacement are performed quickly via the bottom cleaning flange; downtime is kept to a minimum. Our technical team works with project teams for site commissioning, operator training, and fault response.
- Magnesium anode and gasket-set supply
- Periodic maintenance and tank cleaning planning
- Commissioning, training, and on-site technical support
- Performance checks and operating recommendations
Frequently Asked Questions
It is a storage boiler that transfers heat from a boiler, heat pump, or solar collector to mains water via a fixed coil inside the tank. The enameled S235JR shell provides hygienic storage; the TSB/TDB series is offered in the 100–5000 liter range.
In fixed models the coil is integrated with the tank, offering a more economical first investment and installer-friendly construction. In replaceable models the coil is removed via a flange — advantageous under frequent maintenance or hard-water conditions. Both types share the same TSB/TDB capacity and pressure family.
TSB is single coil (100–5000 L); TDB is dual coil (200–5000 L). On TDB, the lower coil can be connected to solar and the upper coil to the boiler for hybrid operation. Example notation: TANPERA-TSB 500/10.
Storage 10 bar, coil 16 bar, maximum coil temperature 120 °C. Units are tested at 1.3× operating pressure before delivery.
100–1000 L: 50 mm, 42 kg/m³ rigid polyurethane + Termowen cladding. 1500–5000 L: 80 mm, 18 kg/m³ open-cell soft polyurethane + vinyl jacket. This construction reduces standby losses.
Storage volume is calculated from unit hot-water consumption with diversity and comfort factors. On a typical 20-apartment estate, ~1000 L single-coil selection is common. Tanpera engineering sizes each project specifically.
Annual magnesium anode inspection/replacement and tank cleaning via the bottom flange are recommended. In hard-water areas, softening or periodic scale management should be planned.
