About the Electric Boiler
With 100–5000 liter storage and 2–120 kW heater options, it scales from residential to heavy industrial facilities.
It requires no external boiler, flue, or gas line; immersion heaters convert electrical energy into heat and keep the water ready at the set temperature.
What Is an Electric Boiler?
Immersion heaters bring the water to the set temperature; strong insulation keeps heat in the tank for a long time so the unit does not run continuously unnecessarily.
Operating Principle
A Legionella protection program periodically raises the water to a high temperature to support hygiene; residual-current and over-temperature protection ensure safe operation.
Independent Operation and Flexible Installation
It eliminates the need for a central heating system or flue connection.
Safe and Clean Energy
Because it does not use natural gas, LPG, or fuel oil, there is no gas-leak or carbon-monoxide risk; it produces no flue gas or combustion emissions. It provides emission-free, quiet, and clean hot water in enclosed spaces and is preferred in green-building and environmentally conscious projects.
Key Features

Frequently Asked Questions
It is a storage hot-water heater that operates on electricity only. Immersion heaters heat the water; a thermostat or ProWatt panel maintains the target temperature. No external boiler or flue is required; it is offered in the 100–5000 L and 2–120 kW ranges.
It is used in homes without gas infrastructure, commercial spaces such as gyms / restaurants / salons, factories and communal shower facilities, hospital and food-process water, green-building projects, and hotel/hospital backup hot-water needs.
Storage and kW are calculated from number of people/showers, target temperature, mains inlet temperature, and usable tank ratio. In the brochure example, PROWATT 1000/10 – 3x15 is selected for a 30-person shower scenario. Tanpera engineering sizes each project specifically.
Maximum operating pressure is 10 bar; maximum operating temperature is 95 °C. The typical set range is 30–85 °C. Units are tested at 1.3× design pressure before delivery.
It offers IP 54 protection, TR/EN LCD menu, real-time programming, temperature/voltage/fault readout, residual-current plus high-low voltage and high-current protection, a Legionella program, and operating/fault signaling to building automation.
100–1000 L: 50 mm, 42 kg/m³ rigid polyurethane + Termowen cladding. 1500–5000 L: 80 mm, 18 kg/m³ open-cell soft polyurethane + vinyl jacket. This construction reduces standby losses.
Annual authorized service maintenance, magnesium anode inspection/replacement, and scale management are recommended. The anode is a consumable. Domestic water must comply with regulations; excessive hardness shortens heater life. A TS EN 1487 safety valve is mandatory at installation; the tank must not be heated when empty.
Yes. In addition to electricity-only operation, efficient hybrid operation with other energy sources is possible by adding a water coil or plate heat exchanger. Non-standard accessory and insulation options are available on request.
